The New Democratic Party release their policy priorities for Canada at the upcoming G8 and G20 summits. Public Safety Minister Vic Toews announces the government will reintroduce legislation to end accelerated parole for non-violent criminals. Quebecor Media announces plans for an all-news cable channel.
