綠批推動漢語拼音 猶如推動簡體字
陸客自由行將開放，馬英九總統日前定調，為了維護正體字，呼籲商家不要寫簡體字。但華語拼音聯盟指出，馬政府捨棄過去台灣用的「通用拼音」，將路牌、路標全面改成中國使用的「漢語拼音」，例如「大溪」拼成「Da Xi」，而非「Da Si」，讓國人看了很不習慣，呼籲政府撤換。 立委翁金珠認為，路牌翻譯的原則，應該是讓大家使用方便，外國人來台灣也能很快就了解，但漢語拼音中把Ｓ改為Ｘ，讓大家看了覺得很奇怪。
