World Music: Sarr e Roma, "Imao Sam Deset Zena"
(Bosnia) Whoever wrote this song had both a way with the ladies and some REALLY bad luck...or perhaps a homicidal streak? Actually though, it is a traditional Sevdah song from Sarajevo, and there is plenty of precedent in the folk lexicon of almost every country for "list" songs like this. "I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly" comes to mind, as well as the Hebrew standard "Chad Gad Yo." (There are many more, and we invite you to write in about them-- the stranger the better.) In this case, the action is definitely based in Bosnia, as locations in the song are Ilizda (a suburb of Sarajevo) and Trebevic (the hill above Sarajevo).
