Dodd-Frank Act’s Response to Financial Crisis
Bloomberg Government analyst Christopher Payne talks about reasons for the financial crisis and eventual enactment of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act in July 2010.   Payne says the growth of the unregulated shadow banking sector led to unchecked credit expansion until the summer of 2007, when credit markets froze.
