イギリスで毎年恒例の「足指相撲」世界選手権 途中で足をひねり悲鳴を上げる参加者も
イギリスで、毎年恒例の腕相撲ならぬ「足指相撲」の世界選手権が行われた。足の指をからめ合い、相手の足を壁に倒した方が勝ちで、右足、左足、右足の順に、3本勝負で勝敗を競う。力の入った真剣勝負に、途中で足をひねって、痛みに悲鳴を上げる参加者もいた。2010年のチャンピオンを破って優勝した男性は、毎日タイヤをけって鍛えたと、誇らしげだった。
