消委會接投訴 信用卡分期付款商戶倒閉仍須供款
消委會表示，消費者以信用卡分期付款簽帳，一旦遇上公司清盤或倒閉可能要為未付款的貨品及服務繼續供款直至完結。 消委會今年頭半年接獲54宗涉及商戶倒閉的信用卡分期付款投訴，較去年同期上升一倍多，有消費者投訴公司倒閉後未能取得貨品及服務，亦不能暫停每月的供款計劃，有涉及事件的銀行表示，銀行已代客戶墊支整筆款項予商戶，所以不能取消餘下的分期供款。 消委會建議市民為減少損失，避免一次過預繳大筆金額，信用卡過數前，要詳細閱讀分期付款的條款。
