椰子樹,於馬來西亞相當常見,而且用途廣泛。東南亞飲食偏向躁熱,而椰花水,有清熱、開胃消滯之效,是當地人的涼茶,收集椰花水要找到有椰花蕾的椰樹,讓椰花水從花蕾自然流出,椰花水呈奶白色,帶有甜味,口感清新。 韜韜和Heidi之後去到柔佛州的麻坡河,目標是野山河魚黃鯰。部處了整整數天,捉到一條八千克的大黃鯰,韜韜將魚腩部份,煮成生焗野生黃鯰煲,香味四溢,黃鯰腩肉油份高、香滑,加上花雕酒香味,一絕。而馬來西亞特產筍殼魚,以開邊清蒸為佳,最能帶出魚肉鮮甜。 入黑後捕捉到於河溪出沒的巨型水魚,單是水魚掌已啖啖肉,紅炆水魚掌口感彈牙,感覺似牛筋,卻又不失嫩滑。酸甜汁煎大河蝦,野生河蝦有龍蝦仔般大,蝦膏濃香,入口有黃油蟹的感覺。露筍炒黃鱔片用上野生黃鱔,特別脆口,亦夠厚肉。生滾田雞粥清甜鮮味,田雞肉滑骨脆。
