Every so often an idea smolders inside you and just won’t go away. When those ideas stand the test of time, then you sort of *have to* do them, don't you? Otherwise it's disrespectful to something that's stood by you for so long. Kansas City filmmaker [Brian Boye]( has been thinking about an idea that's very near to his heart for years. And now, with the help of [Kickstarter]( he is working toward making his documentary, [*Famous Last Words*]( a reality. We sat down at his editing desk at KCTV 5 and discussed the idea as well as how this departure from his usual style of filmmaking keeps him creatively limber.
