Introduced to piano in elementary school, I quickly started my ten-year journey in finding music. Middle school & high school were my experimenting years, where I played clarinet, French horn, percussion, & guitar for varying periods of time, while also taking piano lessons. Singing became a big part of my life when I joined the Madrigal Singers at Whippany Park. Their standard of expertise & true talent consistently pushed me to better myself & face the challenge of growing as a singer. Songwriting is one of my newer hobbies, & the one thing it serves as is a great way to communicate ideas. Music consists of so many colors, emotions, & flavors... I always wanted to experiment with the elements of music & find my groove. This ISP is a little peek at the impact music has had on my life. As much as I can, I plan on continuing my studies of music, & possibly music education, when I attend school at Rutgers University.
