Unreleased Boot Leak: Adizero Prime 2 and Adizero III January 2012
With unrivaled technology and sharp looks, this is the boot we’re going to see on the feet of loads of professional players Soccer Reviews presents, the adiZero II. Adidas are dominating the football boot market right now and we expect this new boot, the adiZero II to widen the gap between them and their closest competitor Nike. This blue and red colour was loved by some here at Soccer Reviews and hated by others but it's certainly a change from the bright orange release colourway we saw with the adiZero primes. Personally, I think they look a little more classy. One of the biggest new features will be the addition of MiCoach into this boot. The bump on the middle of the soleplate is where the MiCoach sensor will be located. The whole idea around MiCoach is that using an electronic device, such as an iPhone you will be able to track the movements you make. This includes the total amount you've run as well as the speed you've been running at. Using this information MiCoach will essentially 'coach' you. Check out a MiCoach advertisement here. The stitching towards the front of the boot has changed, as of now it looks like it will help cushion the ball although. Our friend, the boot insider, Yanis Hammiche supplied us with these images and said that the weight of these leather adiZeros was an astonishing 150 grams. Although we can't confirm this, if it turns out to be true, the leather adiZero IIs will weigh only 5 grams more than the adiZero Primes do right now. Which leads ...
