Professional and amateur filmmakers shot the city of Berlin over a period of 24 hours on Sept. 5, 2008. From that material, they produced a 24-hour-long documentary film called "24hr Berlin - A Day in the Life". In fact, it’s the longest TV doc in the history of the medium. Eighty crews took part. It's now being shown in its entire 24-hour length on various European networks on Sept. 5, 2009.
