イスラエルが占領するゴラン高原で5日、シリアから越境を試みたパレスチナ人に向け、イスラエル軍が発砲し、20人以上が死亡したもよう。イスラエルの占領地・ゴラン高原で5日、シリア側でデモを行っていたパレスチナ人が、境界を越えてイスラエル側に入ろうとしたところ、イスラエル軍が発砲した。シリア国営テレビは、この発砲で23人が死亡し、320人以上がけがをしたと伝えている。5日は、第3次中東戦争の開戦日で、イスラエルの占領政策に抗議するデモが行われていた。
