Joanna Mair is a professor of Strategic Management and Stanford University and IESE Business School and gave this talk at TEDxAshokaU: Universities Driving Global Change at Duke University on February 25, 2011. She currently serves as the academic editor of Stanford Social Innovation Review. Her research focuses on how entrepreneurial actors create value through novel organizational and institutional arrangements. She is the co-author of three books and has written or co-written numerous award winning articles. What isTEDx? In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx.
