Group Including Apple, Microsoft Buy Nortel Patents
Nortel Networks announced the winning bidders of its remaining 6,000 patents and patent applications late yesterday.  The company, which filed for bankruptcy in 2009, said a consortium of bidders won a multi-day auction with a purchase price of $4.5 billion.
