This week Becca has put together a new video about our 44 chickens.  Man, do they grow up fast, it’s only been 7 weeks and they are looking near full size. We plan to only keep 8 of them for fresh eggs. Perhaps keep 2 hens of each breed and one rooster for an alarm clock. The rest will go into the stew pot. How about the looks of that fine chicken coop? Just didn't look right till we added the wagon wheel. It still needs to have the nesting boxes built for the inside, but don't think I'll need those till about December. We live out in the countryside of Montana and have to worry about predators, but so far having the chickens has been easy and fun.
