The Story of Spin
What is political spin and has it become a more prominent feature of the American political scene? Those are some of the questions we pose to our guest, David Greenberg, during this week’s edition of dialogue. David is a professor of history and media studies at Rutgers University. He's also an author and journalist. He's written the "History Lesson" column for Slate since 1998, and has been a contributing editor for The New Republic. Currently, as a fellow at the Wilson Center, he's working on a project titled, “The Story of Spin: Presidential Persuasion from Theodore Roosevelt to George W. Bush.”
