Two New York City homicide detectives, Phil Rayburn and Taj Ahmedjian, are asked to investigate a series of diamond robberies committed by "The Gingerbread Man". Their teamwork and experience quickly lead them to figure out where the next heist will take place on the 4th of July.  Case closed!Or is it? Enjoying an Independence Day barbecue on their day off, they realize that everything they assumed about the next robbery was wrong!Can they re-trace their steps in time to catch the Gingerbread Man before he makes off with his last robbery and disappears?The race against the clock is on, leading to a dramatic 4th of July "Grand Finale" ending!
