箱根駅伝 早大が往路優勝、順大は途中棄権
第８４回東京箱根間往復大学駅伝競走は２日、東京・大手町から神奈川・箱根町までの往路５区間（１０８．０キロ）が行われ、早稲田大学が５区で６位から１位に立ち、１２年ぶりとなる往路優勝を果たした。なお、前回総合優勝の順天堂大学は、５区で途中棄権。
