Sheldon is a baby bluebird we discovered in a friend’s yard. He had fallen out of his nest and was hatching from his egg. We reluctantly brought him home, made a makeshift nest with a heating pad, a bowl and a washcloth. We concocted a bluebird mash. Sheldon has had an appetite from the beginning and remarkably made it through the night. This morning he pooped!! We are taking that as a good sign that all systems are go! He is so tiny and sweet. We hope he makes it!
