Das Volvo Ocean Race ist eine seit 1973 alle vier Jahre durchgeführte Segelregatta, die einmal um die ganze Welt verläuft. Einziger deutscher Teilnehmer ist der Kieler Michael Müller, mit 25 Jahren jüngster Segler an Bord der Puma Il Mostro.
