Criticism over journalist rescue in Afghanistan
Criticism mounts over the airborne rescue from Taliban territory of a kidnapped Western journalist who walked free as four others, including his Afghan interpreter, were killed. NATO commandos rescued New York Times reporter Stephen Farrell, but his assistant Sultan Munadi, a father of two, was shot dead. He was buried in Kabul on Wednesday.
