教育局認為遊行並非學習活動 學生可決定是否參與
立法會議員黃毓民關注，較早前有學校強迫學生及教師參與支持政改遊行，教育局是否有措施，保障學生及教師免於被迫就政治事件表態。代表教育界的張文光要求，當局就事件向立法會提交調查報告。 署理教育局局長陳維安表示，局方認為遊行本身，不是學習活動，只是表達取態的行為，學校安排學習，要釐清期望及目標，由學生作出決定。他認為強制學生參加遊行是漠視學生意願，亦看不到會帶來優質的學習機會。 陳維安又說，已與校方溝通，澄清教師續約安排與是否參與遊行無關，事件已告一段落，無需再跟進，但會按議員要求，商討是否會提交資料。
