iReport — I think this video really captures how the space program captures the imagination of many people (note the reaction of the crowd).  This was Space Shuttle Discovery taking her second-to-last trip to space back in April 2010.  My wife an I were lucky enough to have come back from a cruise to the Bahamas the day before the launch, and were able to watch this absolutely amazing site from the shores of Titusville just across the Indian River from the launch site.  Probably one of the most memorable things I’ve ever seen or will ever see.
