Barbara Stanwyk stars in this rip-roaring biopic of the sharpest shooter in the Old West. Annie Oakley is just a gal from the Ohio backwoods but her skill with the six-shooters wins her a place in Buffalo Bill’s legendary Wild West show.  She’s shown the ropes by fellow gunslinger Toby Walker (Preston Foster) and a romance blossoms between them. But when she overtakes him and gets top billing, professional jealousy starts to sour their relationship. Can they put their disagreements behind them and get their love back on target?
