Hinchinbrook Explored
Hinchinbrook Island National Park, and the several small surrounding islands, are one of tropical North Queensland’s most picturesque spots. Located between Townsville and Cairns, the area is home to beautiful sandy beaches, dense island forests, mangroves, mountains and crystal clear waters. What more can you ask for. In August 2009, several mates and I hired a houseboat for a week to explore and enjoy this little piece of Australian paradise. We explored the Northern end of Hinchinbrook island and the several islands to the north. An adventure in the making. Part 1 Exploring the Hinchinbrook region. Part 2 The fishing! Filmed on a Canon HV30 and edited on Avid Liquid 7. Audio recorded by a Rode Videomic. Backing music by Smartsound Software Inc.
