O Jardim de Aclimação ficava na Zona Sul da cidade e foi fundado em 1892, com inspiração em um parque de mesmo nome em Paris. Atualmente, o parque não é mais zoológico mas dispõe de áreas de lazer e continua recebendo a visita de pequenos animais.
