iReport — Please watch our video for tonight’s review of American Idol Performance Night, The Top 4 Compete! The contestants each sang two songs, we concentrated on round one for this review - "Songs That Inspired Me". The second round was "The Leiber and Stoller" songbook - with many of the legendary tunes of the 50's and 60's. Lady Ga-Ga was the mentor on the second set. First up was James Durbin, with “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey. We thought he nailed it - the judges agreed.Next up was Haley Reinhart, she sang "The Earth Song” by Michael Jackson. Roberta and I thought it was awesome - but two of the judges, especially Randy Jackson, did not like it. JLo gave constructive criticism, but we have never seen Steven Tyler get so mad: At the other two judges - he loved it! The third contestant in round one was  Scotty McCreery. Talk about the best song choice of the night - for him and the country. After our Navy Seals killed bin Laden last week, he nailed the Alan Jackson song "Where Were You When The World Stop Turning" - the 9/11 classic. Wow! We had goose bumps... Lauren Alaina then sang the country classic “Do It Anyway” by Martina McBride. It was Ok, but we disagree with her song choice - she could have picked a better Martina song from her vast catalogue.Who will go home tomorrow night? In our opinion, it will be Lauren.
