華裔移民關惠群服務露宿者獲美總統公民獎章
一名美國華人為露宿者提供免費膳食服務24年，獲美國總統奧巴馬頒發總統公民獎章。 獲獎華人關惠群原居於廣州，文革年代偷渡香港後移居美國加州。她曾表示，文革年代家庭被批鬥的痛苦經歷，引發自己熱心助人。 美國總統公民獎章為當地第二高平民榮譽，華裔著名科學家何大一亦曾於01年獲得該獎項。
