Pumps and Robots - German Technology for Fukushima
The nuclear disaster in Fukushima is an international problem, and helping to tackle it is a global challenge. German equipment is being deployed there: cement pumps made by Putzmeister, for example. And KHG, a company run by Germany’s nuclear power plant operators that specialises in technical assistance in emergencies, is offering to send robots.Report by Marion Hütter
