The sixth extended plenum of the Unified CPN (Maoist) has kicked off at Palungtar of Gorkha district Sunday. Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal opened the inaugural session of the plenum amidst a grand function.Speaking at the inaugural session of the plenum, chairman Dahal said, "We are here to impart a message of historic transformation from armed conflict to main stream politics and peace process to the world community."Dahal also expressed that people must be alert to protect good governance and other democratic assets, which according to him are at high risk at present. "The reactionary forces are active and our achievements are being targeted. We must unite to stop foreign interference and protect our identity."
