大相撲の横綱・朝青龍関の診察に６日に同席した相撲診療所・吉田博之所長が７日、緊急会見し、急性ストレス障害であることを明らかに。また「かなり参っているという感じ」「いろんなことを早めにやった方がいい。モンゴルに帰るのも一つの選択肢」と述べた。
