騎馬武者、勇壮に 「相馬野馬追」の神旗争奪戦
バサバサと旗指し物で風を切り、地響きを立てた百数十騎が旗の落下点へ突進――。国の重要無形民俗文化財「相馬野馬追」のメーン行事、神旗（しんき）争奪戦が２４日、南相馬市原町区の雲雀ケ原祭場地で行われた。 旗をめがけ、果敢に分け入ってむちで絡め取る。誰が取ったかの判定が付かず、２、３人で勝利を分け合う場面も。この日の最高気温は隣の相馬市で３３．４度。見物客３０人が熱中症を訴えた。
