COMPUTEX: Intel shows Moorestown prototypes
Products based on Intel’s new Moorestown chip could be available as early as late this year, the chip-maker said Wednesday. Moorestown combines an Atom processor and a graphics processor into a single package and is aimed at tablet PCs and smartphones. It boasts lower power consumption and higher performance than rivals, according to the company.
