Lin Xiuying alleges police in China covered up the real cause of death of her daughter Yan Xiaoling. The local government and police say her daughter died from an ectopic pregnancy, but Lin alleges she was raped and murdered. Jamil Anderlini, Beijing correspondent, explains how internet activists took up Lin’s struggle in China which has stepped up efforts to control dissent spread via the internet and social online media.
