His wife Indu (Supriya Debi) thought that he never cared about her but her opinion was wrong. A doctor (Robin Banerjee) who was helped by the jamindar during his student days took shelter in the palace. Indu who had an extra marital affair with their doctor and then tries to kill the jamindar by slow poisoning and taking over the kingdom. He then threatened Indu. The jamindar was fortunately saved by a monk, while everyone thought the king was dead. Then the doctor by this time managed to occupy the whole state. Jamindar returned back and demanded his state back from the doctor. The film is about the struggle that the jamindar had to undergo before he was able to get back all that he had lost.
