George Mueller, Kistler Aerospace
Dr. George Mueller is one of America’s space pioneers and leading aerospace executives. From 1963 to 1969 he headed NASA's manned space program and led the Apollo moon landing and Skylab projects. Dr. Mueller is also known as the "Father of the Space Shuttle". Now he is CEO of Kistler Aerospace Corporation of Kirkland, Washington. Their goal is to build and operate the world's first fully resuable launch vehicles. When these rockets are operational they will bring down the cost of launching low earth orbiting satellites by as much as two thirds. His is a high risk, high reward business.
