FPGtW_SudanReport_EP01
This is the first of our FauxPop Goes the World Special Reports. This episode is the first report from Sudan and catches FauxPop corespondent Daryl Gilroy only a few days after landing in Africa in the soon to be capital of South Sudan, Juba. What are his expectations, what has he seen so far. Are people really any different? Just some of the thoughts discussed in this debut episode. Daryl is a good friend from our hometown and is on a bit of an adventure with a new job placement in Sudan. We don’t know what his internet availability will be but whenever we can grab him we will do a report and discover with him stories and observations from this part of the world. Our hope is to shine a spotlight and find ways that we, through Daryl, can contribute to the lives of people young and old and in the process learn about the plight, sorrows and joys of this country on the edge of rebirth.
