Peter Van Dusen speaks with two constitutional experts: Ned Franks of Queen’s University, and David Mitchell, president of the Public Policy Forum. A Senate subcommittee on anti-terrorism has released a report raising concerns about homegrown terrorism in Canada, and recommending more parliamentary oversight of national security agencies. We’re joined by Senators Serge Joyal (Liberal) and Hugh Segal (Conservative). As the parties fine-tune their campaign messages, we hear from strategists Kathleen Monk (NDP), Greg MacEachern (Liberal), and Tim Powers (Conservative).
