In Committee From The House Of Commons Standing Committee on Natural Resources (June 17, 2010) The committee continued its hearings in response to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, and to investigate whether such a disaster could happen in Canada.  Members heard testimony from the following witnesses: Kevin Roche, who is general manager of Noble Drilling (Canada) Ltd. and was representing the International Association of Drilling Contractors; Gail Fraser, Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University; Robert McLeod, minister of industry, tourism and investment for the Northwest Territories; and Kelly Hawboltd, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland (via videoconference from St. John`s).
