Toyota Brake Test of James Sikes 2008 Prius
Toyota engineers in California tested the 2008 Prius of James Sikes, who claimed the car accelerated out of control in March 2010. Toyota found not problems with the car, other than serve front brake wear. They concluded that while more testing needs to be done, there is sufficient reason to doubt the veracity of Mr. Sikes' account.
