Since forming in 1997 in Irvine, California, post-hardcore quartet Thrice have won critical and commerical success with their metal-influenced, tightly-structured songs. Last month, they released their fourth full-length album, Vheissu, which adds a bit of electronica to their sound. Thrice drummer Riley Breckenridge took time out from the band’s tour to brave the mtvU Hot Seat and fill us in on tour craziness, an early brush with MC Hammer and more.
