Good Morning. It’s Tuesday, June 7, 2011. At this hour, U.S. equity futures are up. Overseas, the Asian markets were mixed, while the European markets are higher. Temple-Inland (NYSE:TIN) rejected an unsolicited offer from International Paper (NYSE:IP) to acquire the company for $30.60 per Temple-Inland share in cash. NBCUniversal (NASDAQ:CMCSA) and The Blackstone Group (NYSE:BX) announced that they entered into an agreement under which NBCUniversal will purchase Blackstone's 50% interest in Universal Orlando for $1.025B, subject to various purchase price adjustments. HP (NYSE:HPQ) accelerated cloud adoption with $2B in financing for cloud projects. Biogen Idec (NASDAQ:BIIB) announced that the European Commission granted approval to AVONEX PEN for patients with relapsing multiple sclerosis. Boston Properties (NYSE:BXP) terminated its agreement to sell its Carnegie Center portfolio in Princeton, NJ after announcing on April 25 that it signed an agreement to sell the portfolio to an entity affiliated with The Landis Group for an aggregate purchase price of about $468M. California Pizza (NASDAQ:CPKI) signed franchise deal to expand into Taiwan.
