Nan Goldin speaks about her career and recent work with Stuart Comer, curator of film at Tate Modern.18.01.2007 Nan Goldin is one of the most compelling photographers renowned for her emotive and sincere portrayal of marginal lifestyles and alternative sexualities.Goldin’s photographs reveal and honour personal stories of memory, love and friendship within the contemporary urban settings of cities such as New York and Berlin, and her photographs have influenced younger artists, filmmakers and fashion photographers.Several of Goldin’s photographs from the 1980s and 1990s are included in the Tate Collection and following the publication of Fantastic Tales: The Photography of Nan Goldin (2006), she speaks about her career and recent work with Stuart Comer, curator of film at Tate Modern.
