Deadly E.coli outbreak spreads in Germany
May 31: The number of people killed by an E.coli outbreak linked to cucumbers has risen to 15. The latest victim died in Sweden, shortly after visiting Germany where most of the other deaths have happened. Scientists fear the number of cases will increase. The deadly bug has been found on cucumbers from Spain but it’s not clear if they were contaminated there, during transport or once inside Germany. Here's our Science Editor Lawrence McGinty.
