Hess (Mel Gibson) goes out into his cornfield with a flashlight to tell whomever he thinks is making crop circles in his cornfield that he’s not going to report it--so no fame or notoriety will result. He hears a noise, drops his flashlight, thinks he hears something, and flees as fast as he can.
