Gaza Aid Ship Forced to Dock in Egypt
(Al Jazeera English News Headlines: July 14, 2010) The Libyan aid ship Amalthea, destined for Gaza, was met by Israeli warships on Wednesday and redirected to the Egyptian port of El Arish. In a deadly 24 hours in Afghanistan, eight U.S. soldiers were killed in three separate attacks. India and Pakistan have planned diplomatic talks to repair their troubled relationship, but on the eve of the meeting a senior Indian government official has accused Pakistan of orchestrating the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks. The Himalayan region of Kashmir is another key issue for both India and Pakistan. European regulators have approved a merger between British Airways and Spain’s Iberia, creating Europe's third largest airline.
