Pearl Harbor, Hawaii - Armored Assault Vehicles (AAV) of the Armored Assault Vehicle Platoon, Combat Assault Company, 3rd Marine Regiment, approach the well deck of the HMAS Kanimbla (L 51).  The Marines were embarking the Australian Navy ship in preparation for training exercise during Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2010. RIMPAC is a biennial international military exercise involving naval units from 14 countries and is designed to strengthen regional partnerships and improve multinational interoperability.
