Célia and Helena are two women in Mozambique. Both are 29 years old, pregnant, and HIV positive. GLOBAL 3000 accompanied them during their pregnancies. Célia works at a stand in the market. She keeps her infection secret from her boss. Helena’s boss knows she is positive, but until recently she didn’t know about Helena’s pregnancy. In Part 2 of our documentary series, Helena tells her boss of her pregnancy. Her boss gets angry. Célia, like all women in the program, receives a food package once a month.
