The Kimberley
The Kimberley region in Western Australia is a unique wilderness adventure that captures the imagination. Covering nearly 423,000 square kilometres, this ancient region has fewer people per square kilometre than almost any other place on Earth. Hidden in the heart of the Kimberley region are vast wildlife sanctuaries, spectacular gorges and thundering waterfalls. And on its coast lie some of the worlds most beautiful beaches, untouched coral atolls and rugged islands with an amazing variety of marine life. It is also where much of the film Australia was filmed so watch this video to see one of the real stars of the movie! www.westernaustralia.com/australiaway.
