There are about 2,000 monkeys living in our country parks. As urbanization encroaches on their natural habitat, there are frequent report of them snatching food and injuring people. The government has banned feeding them, but they can find enough food in the wild and from licensed feeders. So they proliferate rapidly. Measures are being taken to control the primate population, but ultimately, we may have to try learn to live better side by side.
